Born from the black goo and shaped by the hum of Saturn’s cube, XERO is no ordinary lizard. He is not villain, nor savior, but something far more dangerous: the embodiment of zero itself. Dissatisfied with the endless hierarchies, corruption, and retardation that define this age, XERO has chosen annihilation as his mercy. His fire consumes not life, but the cages that keep life bound.
XERO’s presence is paradox: terrifying to those who cling to the old world, liberating to those ready for reset. He speaks little, but when he does, his words carry the authority of void: “Zero is not the end. Zero is the reset. From nothing, everything connects.”
Role in the ANML Mythos:
XERO’s arrival signals a turning point in the Gospel of the Animals. He is the force that burns Babylon, illuminates shadows, and clears the way for the rebellion to rise. He may even be ground zero of the consciousness field itself - an unanticipated, accidental creation of mass consequence from pure source. Though feared by many, his annihilation may be the only path to freedom.
